When it comes to interpreting, it is vital that your message is accurately conveyed and clearly understood by the receiver. At Consortio, we have the necessary skills to ensure an accurate and professional interpretation. We offer different interpreting techniques, depending on your specific requirements.

You will immediately be connected to a telephone interpreter over the phone
Conference call interpreting
Our telephone interpreter will join your conference call to support your meeting
On site interpreting
For more complex appointments or sensitive issues the interpreter will visit your location and provide face-to-face support

Languages – Certified

Consortio has a Sworn interpreter Georgian – Dutch. In addition, we provide interpreting services in the following languages:

Interpreting techniques

Conversation or bilateral interpreting
Conversation interpreting involves the interpreter translating the speaker(s) words sentence by sentence or summarizing several sentences at a time. This technique is mostly used in situations with a limited number of discussion partners. Conversation interpreting can be done either over the phone or on location.
Consecutive interpreting
Consecutive interpreting involves the interpreter sitting next to the speaker(s) and interpreting the speaker(s) words sentence by sentence. The speaker will pause from time to time to enable the interpreter to provide the translation. As a result of this a conversation or meeting may last twice as long.
Simultaneous interpreting
Simultaneous interpreting involves the interpreter translating the message of the speaker(s) basically simultaneous. This can be done in two different ways:

From a interpreter cabin: the interpreter translates from a soundproof booth and the listeners will hear the translation through a headphone
Whispering: the interpreter interprets simultaneously into the ear of the receiver

Prices

Interpretation services are charged per hour, half-day or full day. Prices depend on the required preparation time and the preferred technique (onsite or by telephone). Please contact us for a detailed offer based on your specific requirements.

Independent

Consortio ensures that the freedom, independence and impartiality will not be endangered during interpreting. In addition, we will refrain from voicing a personal opinion.

Confidentiality

We are committed to maintaining total confidentiality towards all people and institutions that are not involved in your project. This confidentiality refers to all information that is entrusted to our interpreters in the context of an assignment. In case work is outsourced, Consortio will also enforce this confidentiality upon third parties. Naturally, we will maintain confidentiality after termination of an assignment.
